Located at 1595 Moseley Road in Victor, NY, the Dixon Schwabl building gives a contemporary twist to Federal architectural styles. Built in 2002 by the husband and wife team of Mike Schwabl and Lauren Dixon, the building embodies the agency’s unique and unforgettable approach. The “Wows!” start the moment you step inside. The spiral slide, the mosaic glass horse, and the “great service bell” hung next to the entrance let you know this is not your typical lobby.  The towering cathedral ceilings are capped with skylights, letting the sunshine pour in.

The custom designed carpet meanders through the building where you’ll find many pieces from the MacKenzie-Childs collection as well as works by other area artists. Artists Heather Heffernan and Eric Waugh created the building’s vibrant floor to ceiling murals. Strong supporters of the local arts scene, Lauren and Mike are also actively involved in numerous charities and community organizations.

Last year, in celebration of 20 years of innovation and client-focused success, Dixon Schwabl changed its name to reflect the agency’s broader focus. The business now offers advertising, marketing, and public relations capabilities, each incorporating leading-edge interactive components. And with a work environment that includes a much-used spiral slide, creativity is always in the mix.

In the foundation level, the production area includes studio space complete with a special effects green screen, two editing suites, and a recording studio.

The second floor terrace, ringed with brightly decorated offices and meeting rooms, provides an excellent view of the building’s main entrance.

Buzzing with activity, the public relations department shares an open second floor office. The wall-to-wall mural, created by artist Heather Heffernan, was inspired by ideas generated by the PR staff.
